Some special notes about our timetable....

 

We run things a little differently here at Venus.  Every class is 45 minutes long with each day having a different theme.  Every day is varied and hosts a different part of the body to ensure you are getting a full body program by the end of the week. 

  • Our programs are written for women!  We understand your specific problem areas and therefore we structure our sessions around these.

  • Our trainers are pre & postnatal qualified, simply report your current condition to the trainer and we will provide you with safe alternatives to the program.

  • We have complimentary childminding at every weekday session at 8am and 9am! 

  • Our Tuesday and Thursday strength days are similarly run like a group Personal Training session where the trainer will support, track and encourage you to reach your full potential. 

  • Members can bring a non-member to train with them on a Saturday for just $10!

MONDAY

Malibu is a high intensity style class that incorporates a series of intervals involving short bursts of cardio with minimal rest.  This class is designed to get the heart rate up and endorphins pumping through the body.  Resistance combined with cardio drills ensure that the amount of fat burnt within the session is maximised. Regular attendance of this class will dramatically improve your overall cardio vascular fitness!

TUESDAY

This is an overall upper body strength class involving very minimal cardio and very maximal strength!  The trainer aims to provide an environment to practice correct technique whilst being pushed above and beyond your strength threshold in every class.   This class is based on a 4 week rotation and has a maximum of 15 ladies per session so we can effectively track efforts and technique to continually challenge week after week.

WEDNESDAY

Warrior is a cardio based conditioning class involving elements of games, competitions and team challenges.  Conditioning classes aim to improve overall  speed and endurance by combining repeated exercises and movements with a form of body weight or resistance. Warrior will allow you to build on your agility and overall fitness whilst bringing out your inner beast in these fun filled activities.

THURSDAY

This is a lower body strength class aimed to sculpt and enhance your legs and butt.  The trainer will take you through your program which is based on a heavier weight and lower repetition style to strengthen those voluptuous curves.  This is an overall lower body strength class involving very minimal cardio and very maximal strength!  This class is based on a 4 week rotation and has a maximum of 15 ladies per session so we can effectively track efforts and technique to continually challenge week after week.

FULL BODY

(FUNCTIONAL STRENGTH)

Friday’s are for Functional Full Body Strength! A metabolic conditioning circuit consisting of heavier and lighter loads to target the whole body.  The style of session is based on AMRAPS which ensures you get all the benefits of a cardiovascular workout whilst still building strength and muscle mass at the same time.  This really is the best way to burn more overall fat and keep your metabolism firing around the clock!

PILATES

A pilates mat workout that will help strengthen and lengthen the entire body.  This class incorporates elements of balance and flexibility, with emphasis placed on strengthening the "smaller" stabilising muscles of the glutes and core.  These are the essential building blocks in creating a strong, functional body that remains injury free! Learn how to use the correct techniques to compliment those harder sessions and allow you to reach your goals faster! 

(CONDITIONING & HIIT)

The perfect mix of full body metabolic conditioning.  This workout will set you up for the weekend and burn a tonne of calories!  "Go hard or Go home!".  Be sure to bring along friends & family members to add to the fun and excitement.  The more the merrier!
